Infographics    Infographics is such an excellent tool to transmit data in an exciting, captivating, and illustrational way of conveying a message. It was my first time learning and diving into creating an infographic. I had seen them before however, I had never created one from scratch. It was quite interesting and exciting to say the least. I know that teachers and students would love to learn such websites mentioned below to start creating and setting bloom's taxonomy highest level to the challenge. Cartoons and Comics A graphic novel is a genre where picture books and text collide. Many students love the option of having graphics and reading dialogues which make comic books popular. Whereas before comics were tabooed nowadays many students gravitate towards. Dave Pilkey is a popular author that has written the Captain Underpants series in which students love to read. A bit of a controversy because many parents don’t agree that the main character comes out in his underpants. This series has caused some challenges along the way. However, graphic novels are becoming a popular hit among the reading population. Final Reflection 5391

Final Reflection 5391 I knew this semester I would be learning a great deal of technology. I was a bit nervous however, I'm a quick learner, and if you show me the way I will become savvy quickly. However, this course was enriched with several great websites and applications that helped me grow in my profession as an educator and I carry with me as a future librarian. I really enjoyed that it was a hands-on course where I was able to learn, evaluate, and create projects with the many educational websites we encountered.  Exciting  The most exciting ones I feel were the Cartoon and Comics websites. They were the most fun because of the endless creativity than can be poured into each one of them and become a work of art.
